2025 Winter Meetings Post

The Braves managed to stop the Dodgers' title run securing their second title. Their first win came in the shortened 2020 season, so this is their first full-season championship.

The New York Mets are spending like the Dodgers. Their Juan Soto signing could be the boost Mr. Smile needs to get another title. Roki Sasaki is still out there. He has a cheap price tag so any team would sign him, but the Dodgers, Padres, and Mets are the NL favorites to get him.

There's another Tokyo series the week before Opening Day, so I may submit the draft before that to avoid the confusion of submitting the draft during the first game week. The prospect list would lock at that time, but any prospects making the Opening Day roster can be swapped out.

2024 Winter Meetings Post

The Reds won their first Senior Circuit title last season beating the top-seeded Braves in the championship.

The Dodgers can viewed as baseball's new evil empire acquiring Ohtani, Yamamoto, and Glasnow so far this offseason. Pretty City benefits greatly from these moves and should make a playoff run in 2024.

This season the prospect list will freeze when the draft is submitted, so you'll need to make your selections before the draft. The draft will be submitted late in the spring as usual and you'll still be able to replace protected players who make the opening day roster.
